The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has expanded the requirement for a negative COVID-19 test to ALL air passengers entering the United States from international destinations.
All owners and guests returning to the United States from our resort will be required to have been tested for COVID-19 and receive a NEGATIVE test result within three (3) days before your flight to the U.S. departs, and provide written documentation of their laboratory test result (paper or electronic copy) to the airline or provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19. If you do not provide documentation of a negative test or recovery, or choose not to take a test, the airline will deny your boarding.
To assist and accommodate this requirement the Association has made the following arrangements to assist you.
- 2-3 days prior to your departure a certified clinician or doctor will be present on-site to administer the test.
a. In the alternative you will be provided with a location to visit where this test can be administered to you and your family.
- The cost of this test will be between $45-$212 (USD)
- Test results will be made available to you within 24-48 hours.
- You will be required to provide written evidence of your negative test prior to checking in to your flight to the U.S.
- Should a member test POSITIVE to the COVID-19 virus you will not be permitted to board your flight. If this should occur, the association will help you find accommodations where you can quarantine for the required amount of time. (That time is 10 days and then you must test once again and have a NEGATIVE test result).
- We will do our best to provide you with accommodations at our resort. If accommodations are not available, we will help you find alternative accommodations.
- The cost of the accommodations at OCHO will be the direct maintenance fee per night paid to the association for the benefit of the owner of the villa used.
- Any member who has tested POSITIVE and is required to quarantine at our resort will be subject to strict policy of quarantine which will be explained to you. This is necessary to control any further spread of the virus. We will do our best to make you as comfortable as possible.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
